Following our Joe's Shanghai success, the owners created Joe's Ginger in New York Chinatown in December 2004, as part of the expansion to our Joe's Shanghai model.
Joe's Ginger serves authentic Shanghai style cuisine with a style that combines the Western influences and traditional recipes.
Joe's serves our famous Shanghai dishes - Cold Cuts; Shredded Turnip Shortcake; Braised Duck; Lion's Head; Braised Pork Shoulder and of course, our ever popular "Xiao Long Bao" or "Soup Dumpling". It comes in two varieties - pork and crab meat with pork.
Our restaurant is located at 25 Pell Street, Chinatown, a few stores away from our original location at 9 Pell Street.
